Recentemente houve alguns estrondos e luzes em meio as nuvens e surgiu uma teoria de que fosse uma batalha em andamento entre frotas de diversas empresas rivais de limpeza de carpetes que sobrevoam a festa como se fossem urubus, mas não se deve acreditar em tudo o que se escuta em festas, sobretudo não nas coisas que se ouve nessa festa.
Um dos problemas – e um que obviamente só vai piorar – é que todas as pessoas na festa são filhos, netos ou bisnetos das pessoas que não saíram de lá no início de tudo e, por conta de todas aquelas baboseiras sobre seleção natural e genes recessivos, isso significa que todas as pessoas que estão agora na festa ou são fanáticos por festas ou completo imbecis ou – o que é cada vez mais frequente – ambas as coisas.
De qualquer forma isso significa que, geneticamente falando, cada nova geração está menos propensa a sair do que a anterior.
Há outros fatores que entram em cena, tal como, por exemplo, quando é que a bebida vai acabar.
Bem, por conta de algumas coisas que ocorreram e que pareciam uma boa idéia na época (e um dos problemas com festas que nunca terminam é que todas aquelas coisas que só parecem ser uma boa idéia durante a festa continuam parecendo ser boas idéias), esse ponto parece estar ainda muito distante.

Certa noite, tempos atrás, um bando de astroengenheiros da primeira geração, bêbados, construiu o prédio de um lado para o outro, cavando isso, instalando aquilo, batendo fortemente naquilo outro e, quando o sol se levantou na manhã seguinte, ficou surpreso ao se descobrir brilhando sobre um prédio cheio de pessoas bêbadas e felizes que estava, naquele momento, flutuando como um pássaro jovem e incerto sobre as árvores.
